Shoot Thinning & Trunk Stripping

It’s shoot thinning and trunk stripping time in the vineyard this week!
Shoot thinning and trunk stripping means we are removing any shoots that are not bearing fruit so that the vine can concentrate its’ energy into the grapes! None of this harms the vine, it just encourages it to grow correctly and produce great grapes! This also helps with airflow and can prevent issues like disease or excessive moisture on the grapes.
